ELAC Annual Report

Historically, ELAC has focused the annual needs assessment on understanding the accessibility, quality and affordability of early care and education in Indiana. For the 2021 Report,  ELAC decided to shift the focus to understand the initial impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on early care and education in Indiana. This report provides a point-in-time understanding of the impact as of June 30, 2020.

This dashboard is a companion to the How COVID-19 Has Impact Indiana’s Child Care System report above. The dashboard provides more recent data to show how COVID-19 has impacted the child care industry since March 2020. You can look at the data at a county level, by program type, and during a specific time period.
